Travel Research: American South Roadtrip

Curated Recommendations and Guide

In the midst of exploring our own backyard and the great outdoors during the height of the pandemic, we road tripped across America on several occasions. One of our favorite drives (and one of our client’s favorites too) is the cinematically-epic route through the American South. We’re serving it up in two parts: first focusing on the culinary meccas of the coast and touching upon the Deep South’s civil rights heritage. In a later Edition, we’ll take the spectacularly beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway up the spine of the Appalachian Mountains to Virginia wine country, for a total trip of over 1600 miles.

Visiting the US is so much more than just Manhattan or California – each corner is uniquely different in its own right, and certainly worth the drive to more fully experience the broad diversity of true American culture.

Syllogi’s ‘Travel Research’ publication is an exclusive offering for our members, giving you selected access to our collection of travel projects and guides from our library. As Travel Researchers, this represents highlights from our signature offering to private clients who commission us to provide personalized research for their upcoming travels, and also projects that we have created from our own personal travel. Given the custom nature of each piece, they may skew more family-oriented, or towards a single traveller, or perhaps towards someone who is a foodie, or someone who loves nature. Either way, this intel serves a great guide and overview for anyone travelling to the featured destination.
