This year 2000 rom-com is a light-hearted and cheesy watch starring Amy Irving who has a romance with a Brazilian lawyer that is navigating between her, his ex-wife, and a rather sleezy footballer-star client. Sure, the plot is fine, but we particularly love the dramatic setting of Rio de Janerio. The movie opens with Irving diving off of the rocks at Arpoador and swimming in the waters of Ipanema. Everything about this movie beacons us to return to Rio again and again.
