A friend gifted me a small hedgehog pin from Macon et Lesquoy, intricately stitched and assembled. It sparked a love of pins, and a love of this particular brand, founded by two women who originally created designs inspired by their travels. They opened their shop in Paris where you can peruse their designs in a cool, quaint storefront.
They call themselves “travellers in search of the best” and chose an ancient Pakistani technique of bullion thread embroidery to craft their pieces. Each pin is unique with creative and fun themes. They make for the perfect gift, or perhaps a great place to start a new collection.
