Luxury is waning at most hotels we check into these days, even with they bill themselves as such. But sometimes, we find gems that are still providing us with surprise inspiration. In our readings this Fall, we found this collection of exceptional ‘turn down’ services that a handful of hotels are still providing.
Our personal favorites include: hot water bottles inserted into the sheets to warm the bed on safari at Wilderness Sabyinyo in Rwanda; or a bath filled with rose petals and candles lit all around at South Africa's Kambaku River Sands Lodge.
