Magazine
Perhaps the world’s most iconic and important river, the Amazon and its forest are known as the “lungs of the world” and host superlatives of biodiversity and intrigue.
In October 2024, National Geographic released a special issue of their print magazine that is impressive for anyone who is travelling to the Amazon or just wants to know more about it. The magazine feature is divided into sections, first from the mountainous source, in the Andes, to the central forests, and finally to the Atlantic estuaries where the massive river creates a outlet of sediment that reaches to Guadeloupe.
What we love about it are the wonderful illustrations of each biome, depicting the flora and fauna that live there.
