Listen: A Collection of Quirky Australian Music
For Dreaming of: Eurovision fans, rejoice!

Music
Equally as quirky as its film industry, Australian vocalists have permeated the world’s radio waves for many decades. If you’re a member of Gen X, you’ll easily recall some of the early 80s’ most quintessential tunes:
“Great Southern Land” by IceHouse
“Down Under” by Men at Work
“Don’t Dream It’s Over” by Crowded House
If you’re a Millennial, you obviously couldn’t get this song out of your head at the turn of the Millennium:
“Can’t Get You Outta My Head” by Kylie Minogue.
And even now, Australia remains very fun and very weird as a Eurovision contestant (yes, they actually compete!)
2025’s official submission is “Milkshake Man.” Get a load of this artist’s retro throwback style. Eurovision fans, rejoice! It’s a perfect candidate.
