Intel: Reinstating the Brazilian Visa in 2025
Americans will need to apply to visit Brazil once again.
It was long accepted that Americans had to apply for a visa to visit Brazil, even as a tourist, up until about 7 years ago when the visa requirement was waved.
But in 2025, on April 10th to be exact, that requirement resumes.
Luckily, the visa will last for TEN years, so that’s good news. Even if you renew your passport before your ten year visa expires, carry your old passport (visa attached) with your new passport when you travel.
So, if you’re headed to Brazil soon, you'd better get your application ready!
