A free family travel resource for those with patience and a willingness to sort through recommendations.

Without a doubt, apart from close friends and family, Facebook groups are a very helpful resource for getting information on family travel. These incredible active spaces are full of parents who are looking to provide their children with exceptional travel experiences, and share/receive that information for free. Whether you’re looking for advice on a specific destination, inspiration for where to travel next, or suggestions for fulling in missing items from your itinerary, these groups are a wealth of information.

As with anything on Facebook, you'll need time, patience, and a watchful eye to sort through the clutter, but with a little digging, you can find some gold nuggets. These groups are ideal for traveller with the time and energy to plan their trips on their own and conducting all the research without the help of companies like ours or a traditional travel agency. Some of our favorites include:
And of course, we have our own group for those who are members of Syllogi Travellers Club. While our group not specifically focused on family travel, it’s a great community for crowdsourcing information.
