The first full week of December is secretly known as a “dead week” for travel – and it’s often a place where you can score tremendous travel deals. Sandwiched in between the American Thanksgiving and the coming Christmas holiday, few travel for leisure during these days – meaning that cruises, airlines, and resorts are often offering generous deals. This can be a great time to sneak away to the Caribbean, where the weather is warm and the hurricane season has quieted down.
